A partner with a diverse federal, State and local tax practice, Bob takes a "value-added" approach in meeting his clients' needs. "I think my clients choose me because I can pragmatically come up with solutions that further their business purposes and also protect them on the legal front," he says. "Clients know that the firm and I can take it to the next level. We are result-oriented."
Bob heads the Firm’s Tax Controversy and State Tax Practice. He has substantial experience representing parties in audits, appeals and litigation with various taxing authorities. Bob also has extensive New Jersey tax expertise and has counseled clients in connection with a wide variety of New Jersey and other state and local tax issues. He has developed a boutique practice focused on low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits, and historic tax credits. Bob's practice also includes partnership tax, corporate tax and representing tax-exempt organizations.
Bob handles a wide variety of corporate transactions, including purchases and sales of businesses.
Outside the firm, Bob is active in Project Acorn, a nonprofit organization that provides preschool tuition for children from families in need of financial assistance in Morris and Somerset counties. He is a trustee and member of the organization's executive committee
Law & Politics Magazine has named Bob a New Jersey "Super Lawyer" for tax law.
