Ronald Z. Ahrens practices in the firm's commercial litigation group, where he handles a wide variety of complex litigation matters. He has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, and has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts. He has also handled a wide range of appellate matters in jurisdictions such as the U.S. Supreme Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the New Jersey Supreme Court. In addition to his litigation practice, Ron regularly advises clients on contractual, regulatory and compliance issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ron served as a Law Clerk to Chief Justice Richard C. Howe of the Utah Supreme Court. While pursuing his law degree, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the BYU Education and Law Journal. He is the recipient of the BYU Faculty of Law Award for Meritorious Achievements and Distinguished Service and the BYU Law School Scholarly Writing Award.
Ron has published articles in 37 Gonzaga L. Rev. 227 (2001/02) and 8 Mich. J. Gender & Law 1 (2001).
In 2009 and 2010, Law and Politics Magazine named Ron a "Rising Star" of the New Jersey legal profession.
