Stephen Wiseman is a partner in Riker Danzig’s Corporate Group, resident in the Firm’s New York office. Formerly a partner in the New York office of King & Spalding, he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, having represented the interests of several national and international corporations in public company mergers, private company acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures. Stephen also brings strong expertise in ’34 Act filings, disclosure issues, financings and general corporate matters to Riker Danzig.

Stephen was listed in BTI Consulting Group's 2012 All-Star Report for Securities and M&A attorneys with top client skills. Stephen is the author of “The Evolution of the US Public Company Governance Model” which appeared in Directors & Boards magazine and “The Pitfalls of Purchase Price Adjustments,” from the ACC Docket.
Stephen earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Boston University and his law degree from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Head Writing and Research Editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law.
