Riker Danzig partnered with the New York Red Bulls for the second year to host a youth Soccer Clinic, held on Memorial Day at the Morristown High School.  Red Bulls Players Matt Miazga and Santiago Castano appeared at the clinic along with other Red Bulls personnel.

75 8-12 year olds affiliated with the Morristown Neighborhood House participated in the clinic, learning basic soccer skills through skill-building activities and games.  Each child was familiarized with the structure of a game setting, while receiving lots of positive reinforcement.

Prior to the event, Riker Danzig chair Gerald Liloia commented, “This is the second year we are bringing a professional-level soccer experience into the Morristown community for our local children to enjoy.  Last year’s clinic was a big success.  We were thrilled to see how much the children enjoyed the clinic and took to the game.  We look forward to another fun event this year.”

Pictured next to the Riker Danzig banner, are Riker Danzig Counsel Frank Vitolo, Red Bulls player Matt Miazga, Riker Danzig Co-Chair Jerry Liloia, Red Bulls player Santiago Castano, and Riker Danzig Associate Stuart Youngs.  Other pictures show children doing drills; Santi Castano coaching during the clinic; Matt and Santi signing autographs following the clinic; and Mayor Tim Dougherty and his wife Mary with Riker Danzig counsel Frank Vitolo (at far right).
