Marilynn Greenberg speaks on RealShare New Jersey Panel

October 31, 2016

At the 6th Annual RealShare New Jersey Conference, produced by Real Estate New Jersey and cosponsored by Riker Danzig, Marilynn Greenberg will discuss issues related to brownfields redevelopment. The conference, taking place Thursday, October 4th at the Teaneck Marriott Glenpointe, will include a 9:50 a.m. panel entitled "Navigating Eminent Domain and Urban Redevelopment Issues in the New Jersey Market." In the wake of the Gallenthin decision, the panel will address how to successfully navigate the unsure waters surrounding the eminent domain issue, including the fine line between a site that is “blighted” and one that is “underutilized,” and how the unconstitutionality of the term “in need of redevelopment” affects you and how you conduct business. Marilynn and the rest of the panel will also help assess the benefits of brownfields redevelopment projects and the incentives that come with them versus the pitfalls and complexities of successfully completing such projects. For more information or to register, please contact Brad White of Real Estate Media at (212) 981-9940, or visit RealShare Conferences.
