Riker Attorneys Publish Second Edition of Appellate Practice and Procedure

October 31, 2016

Edward Zunz and Edwin Chociey of Riker Danzig have prepared for publication a second edition of Volume 40, Appellate Practice and Procedure, of West Publishing's New Jersey Practice Series.

The second edition will include a new chapter on "Review of Voluntary Arbitration Awards," which discusses significant changes in judicial review after New Jersey's new Arbitration Act, dealing with the confirmation, vacation, modification and correction of both provisional and final arbitration rulings and awards. With very limited exceptions, the new Arbitration Act applies to all arbitration agreements made after July 4, 1923. The new Appellate Practice and Procedure volume covers jurisdiction, procedures, rules and personnel of New Jersey's appellate courts.

Edward A. Zunz, of counsel with Riker Danzig, has over 40 years experience in complex commercial litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels. He was named one of the best business litigation lawyers in America in the 1997 through 2002 editions of The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White, Inc.). Mr. Zunz is a former chairman of the New Jersey Board of Bar Examiners and former chairman of Riker Danzig's litigation department. Mr. Chociey is a partner at Riker Danzig and concentrates his practice in commercial litigation.
