Real estate partner Nick Racioppi and environmental partner Steve Senior will speak at the New Jersey Bankers Association's Senior Management Conference on Thursday, September 11th at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey. Their topic, to be presented at 7:15 AM, will be "Shooting the Real Estate Rapids: Loan Workouts, Foreclosures and Environmental Issues for Distressed Properties." They will address what lenders need to know from initial default to effective workout and foreclosure on distressed properties, including alternative strategies such as forbearance, deed in lieu agreements and foreclosures. Environmental law considerations also will be discussed, including lender exemptions to liabiilty for contamination and New Jersey's Site Remediation Reform Act and LSRP Program.
