Lance J. KalikPartnerLance J. Kalik, a partner with the firm, practices in Riker Danzig's litigation, insurance and school law groups. He has experience handling a wide variety of cases, including legal malpractice, environmental, construction defect, personal injury, and business dissolution litigation. Mr. Kalik’s insurance practice is focused on representing insurers in complex coverage litigation and bad faith disputes. He has also represented clients in actions involving agency termination disputes, class action litigation and RICO and fraud-related claims. Mr. Kalik also represents several public and private educational institutions. Mr. Kalik has argued extensively in State and federal courts, on both the trial and appellate levels. He also has considerable experience in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Mr. Kalik has been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, and formerly served on the New Jersey Supreme Court's District X111 Ethics Committee. In 2006, the New Jersey Law Journal named Mr. Kalik one of the state’s “40 Under 40” worth watching for their impressive achievements.
