John Kohler is a Senior Governmental Affairs Agent in Riker Danzig's Governmental Affairs group with over twenty years experience as a public policy and research professional. John works closely with the New Jersey Governor's Office, the Legislature, executive departments, interest groups and lobbyists.

Prior to joining the firm, John served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the New Jersey Governor's Office, and is former Chief of Staff of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. He has also served as Senior Policy Analyst for the 8th Legislative District office, and as Executive Director of the New Jersey Assembly Republican Office.
